Harbor Bikes opens its first repair studio in the old port

The studio offers same-day repairs and free safety checks for city riders.

Harbor Bikes, a local bicycle service, today opened its first repair studio in the old port. The studio is open six days a week and accepts walk-ins as well as bookings made online.

Most repairs, such as punctures, brakes and gears, are finished the same day. Every visitor gets a free ten-point safety check.

“We want riding in the city to be simple and safe,” said the founder. “A bike should never stay in the shop longer than it has to.”
